The IT-5116 is a drilling station It consists of a column drill fixed on a pneumatic skid moving it up and down. The piece to be drilled is installed on a support attached to a piston During the piece reception phase the base is pushed outside while during the drilling phase it is withdrawn under the drill The module is assembled on a rigid Bakelite base and it can be easily moved around the laboratory. IT-5116 can be fully controlled using a PLC module or an Arduino microprocessor Thanks to the PLC or Arduino programming software a wide range of exercises regarding the automation of the module in a working cycle or in stand-alone mode can be developed.
